From the car park guests make their way across the cobbled yard,
more used to hooves than stiletto’s!!, and into Cara’s
Barn reception/bar area. After enjoying celebratory drinks and the
views on the 40’ elevated veranda your guests will make their
way upstairs to the oak beamed Cara’s Barn dining room.
Once the speeches have been made and the cake cut your guests can
mingle and wander as they please around the private grounds of Owl
Lodge.
As the evening approaches The Orchard Room becomes the dance floor
with the double doors opening out onto the veranda perfect for those
that prefer to watch both the dancing and the sunset!
The Orchard Room – approx 30’ x 12’
Ground floor with disabled access from the double doors on the veranda,
plenty of natural daylight and heated by either the log burner or
radiators. Can be used for extra dining area seating up to 30 increasing
the overall capacity to approx 100 guests but more commonly used
as the disco room in the evening.
Cara’s Barn
Groundfloor – Accessed from either the cobbled yard or The
Orchard Room you will find the fully fitted commercial kitchen and
past the reception area at the bottom of the stairs the toilets,
including disabled toilets. The reception can be used as the bar
area with the doors opening out onto the cobbled yard.
Upstairs – approx 17’ x 33’
Stairs lead up to the mezzanine dining area seating comfortably
up to 60 guests at ? round tables. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking
the cobbled yard with the twin glass double doors offering stunning
views out over the Wiltshire countryside. This together with the
oak beamed vaulted ceiling brings a true atmosphere to your special
occasion.
Cobbled Yard
This area provides a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink and
reminisce about the day’s proceedings. Can be used as an area
for an outside bar should the weather suit!...and perfect for your
spit roast or barbecue.
10 acre activity field
This flat grass field has many uses from extra car parking, marquees,
giant games, maybe laser clays which allow your guests to still
enjoy a drink or even pre drinks you can indulge in alternative
outdoor motorised and country sport activities as we have our own
on site outdoor events company Teampursuits
